Nayantara Sehgal was Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit’s daughter. Vijay Lakshmi Pandit was sister of Jawaharlal Nehru. Not to frustrate you more, Nayantara Sehgal was actually P. N. Thapar's sister in law too. PN Thapar was the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian army in early 60’s. Please wait, PN Thapar was father of Karan Thapar who studied in Cambridge and Oxford . Now do you see a relation emerging between Rahul Gandhi and Karan Thapar. Arey they are a family and they are working together for India :) so when was the last time you saw Rahul in KT's devil's court :) or debating on TV in any grilling TV interview ? good find. but i think personal relationships (either by blood or through friendships) plays a very little role in politics. after all, we have seen brothers of same blood fighting against each other in politics! unless each other answers "what is in it for me", they wont "work" together, no matter how close (or far, as in this picture) they are related to.
